Writing Blogs is an art. The deal is that there currently only one true blog grader. Yep, that would be Google. You see, if you write an article and attempt to get traffic to your site, there are certain key attributes your blog must deliver. Great beginners piece from Google.
You Need a Keyword for your Blog
The keyword is the key. Your title, article image, tag, link all must have the keyword to get the quickest ranked results. Be sure to spend time placing the keyword in the areas mentioned to gain maximum benefit in Googles eyes.
Keyword Difficulty
Sure everybody wants the highest trafficked keyword to target but there is a bit of a problem here. The high traffic juicy keywords are likely the most difficult to gain traction. That would be like working out once and thinking you could run a marathon. Try sure hits on the low hanging fruit. Of course, we love Hubspot's tool to help sort out difficulty.
Long Tail or Descriptive Keywords
If you are new to real estate, do you have a better chance at the word "real estate" or "real estate homes in Brookhaven Georgia". You bet the longer version would be much less difficult to capture and much less competition.
If your competitors are not blogging, it makes it that much easier to get noticed and thereby a better shot of getting to the top. Do know that age of site and inbound links also factor in but all things considered, a blog will jump you to the higher rankings if the content is useful, current, and keywords are placed where Google can sniff them out.
